"Swadhyaya yoga, il canno di inni e mantra, è un modo di studiare sè stessi che è stato praticato da tempo immemorabile dagli uomini di conoscenza e perciò essi ci hanno ispirato a cantare. Swadhyaya accresce la radiosità interiore, l' elasticità e il vigore mentale. Ci eleva molto di più che soffermarsi su inutili pensieri speculativi. La pratica di swadhyaya, eseguita in modo collettivo, è basata sul sedere in un luogo pulito e comodo seguendo il canto direttamente sul testo, in modo da evitare distrazioni.
Nel cantare la mente diventa saturata con i mantra e automaticamente si concentra, il cuore si fissa nella sua sorgente e gode la gioia che è l'intima essenza del sè. Si supera la noia e le ansietà svaniscono ed i carboni del senso del fallimento si estinguono "(Swani Muktananda).
Il Brihat-naradiya Purana dice: "Nel kali yuga il nome divino è il solo mezzo. Nessun altro metodo può condurre l'uomo alla liberazione."
Il saggio Charandas dice: " Mescolando la ripetizione del nome divino con il respiro si supera la dualità"
Kabir das dice: "Ricorda il sè con ogni respiro."
Per gustare il nettare di swadhyaya ci incontramo il 27 dicembre 2010 a Spilamberto alle ore 20.00. La manifestazione si svolge nell'ambito degli eventi per il Sole Invitto 2010/2011 manifestazione organizzata dal Circolo vegetariano VV.TT.
La sessione dura circa 60 minuti e comprende anche una meditazione silenziosa.
